ChildFund International Job Vacancy 2021

Job Purpose: The Project Manager of the (ATEC II) SGBV/SRHR project will be responsible for project management, budget management, partnership management, and last but not least, the overall implementation of the ATEC II SGBV/SRHR project to ensure the achievement of the project’s goals, objectives and overall impact and to meet all compliances of the donors’ requirements.  Furthermore, the Project Manager will be a focal person and responsible for collaboration and coordination with ChildFund Zambia team and partners related to the implementation of the ATEC II project which is also a national project. He or She will directly report to the Technical Manager-Health based at ChildFund Zambia Country Office.

Networking and influencing:

  • Represent ChildFund in all relevant fora for SGBV, Adolescent sexual and reproductive health.
  • Position ChildFund Zambia as the leading organization for adolescent health rights and child protection in the country
  • Secure strategic partnership with key partners on SGBV and SRHR and demonstrate aggressive knowledge and evidence for the interventions that ChildFund does.
  • Influence government and strategic stakeholders for an adolescent friendly SRHR services in our areas of operations including other influencing initiatives

Qualification:

  • Essential: Bachelors degree from a recognised University in; Public Health, Social Work, Social Sciences or a related disciplines.
  • Desirable: Master’s degree from a recognised University in the above fields is a requirement.

Experience:

  • More than 7 years of experience in international or national development including public/community health response, with a focus on SGBV/SRHR or HIV an assert
