Bank of Zambia Job Vacancy 2022
Job Purpose: Maintain service contracts, manage all activities associated with procurement, storage and distribution of goods and services in accordance with Bank procurement policies and guidelines.
Main Accountabilities:
- Oversee and verify GRN entries are as per contracted terms.
- Make procurement-related policy recommendations through Head of Department for consideration and approval by the Management Executive Committee and the Board, respectively.
- Facilitate preparation of the Bank-wide Procurement Plan in order to ensure that all procurement activities are consolidated, coordinated and executed in an orderly manner.
- Facilitate Bank of Zambia procurement contracts to ensure consistency of approach, contract management and supplier relationship and obligations.
- Impart professional guidance and training to subordinate staff in order to facilitate performance improvement and their career development.
- Provide oversights for the management and administration of procedures for inventory management.
- Ensure compliance by the Bank to the law on all matters of procurement
- Provide guidance to evaluation committees.
Qualification:
- Diploma in Purchasing and Supply
- Two (2) years’ relevant experience.
- Grade 12 School Certificate with a minimum of five (5) ‘O’ Levels (Credit or better).
