Job Purpose:
- (TWO- WHEELER BIKE driving with valid RTSA license is must). This position will be responsible to technically sound, repair & service assigned for Medical Equipment specialties like Radiology Products (X-Ray, Ultrasound, Color Doppler, CT scan & MRI machines), Critical Care Products (Patient Monitors, Ventilators, Anesthesia & Operation Theatre) & Other Hospital equipment.
Duty Station:
- Within Zambia , Kitwe and Lusaka , South – Central Africa
Qualification:
- Diploma / Bachelors / Masters – Medical Electronics / Biomedical Engineering / Instrumentation / Electronics / Nursing / Radiographer
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years of relevant / other sales experience.
- At least three years’ experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment in the Healthcare Industry with Manufacturers Certified Training
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend product training courses (locally or abroad) and work towards completion of required professional certificates in order to build competence in providing technical assistance and support to defined customers.
- Provide onsite service (locally or abroad) to deliver both timely and effective installation, maintenance, equipment repairs and equipment upgrades or modifications not withstanding all safety instructions.
- Timely completion of service reports and good liaison with the company Customer Service Centre.
- Escalate as appropriate, situations where customer satisfaction is compromised and to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Key Skills:
- This is a field-based role offering considerable independence and requiring strong self-discipline.
- Proficient in the use of tools, service test equipment or any other company resources.
- Ability to write clear and concise action plan & service reports.
- Ability to competently prioritize, organize and plan workload
- Ability to take ownership of issues and use initiative to resolve issues
